Don’t Look At Me – The world’s first robotic ambient album is finally here!
It is done! It is out! And it is a small miracle that you can hold it in your hands! Today marks the official release of my new album "Don’t Look At Me". It has been a wild ride: from building novel robots in South Korea to recording in Berlin churches, and surviving the bankruptcy of our vinyl pressing plant.

A Robot That DISLIKES Attention
This album is the culmination of years of research into "Robotic Ambient." It started in Seoul in 2023, where we built a novel sound generation device: physical sine wave resonators.
The concept was simple: The robot was controlled by an anti-social media algorithm. We used data derived from human audiences all over the world: As soon as you looked at the robot (or paid it attention), it became dissonant, moving erratically. It only created beautiful harmonies when left alone.
It is a machine that demands inattention, a commentary on our current attention economy. We recorded the final material in the Zwingli Church in Berlin, together with the legendary Andi Toma (Mouse On Mars), capturing the unique acoustic space of the church.
Was this a cursed release?
The road to this release was anything but smooth. In fact, the album has been postponed multiple times. Just two months ago, our vinyl pressing plant in Berlin went bankrupt, taking our half-finished records, our money, and that of hundreds of other artists into the place where sad businesses go to die.
It was a disaster. But fortunately, the community stepped in. A lot of wonderful people helped last minute, we found a new pressing plant, and got massive support from the Altin Village label crew.
Because of this, I am incredibly proud to say: We have vinyl! And it sounds fantastic.
Important Update: Release Concert Rescheduled
We have to move the Leipzig release concert from Feb 16 to March 28, 2026.
Why? On the original date, several large-scale demonstrations are taking place in Leipzig. We have serious concerns regarding the safety and accessibility for our crew and guests.
The Good News: The new date is March 28, 2026. The lineup remains spectacular. It will be a night like no other:
Moritz Simon Geist: Live Robotic Ambient Show
Kathrin Passig: A lightning talk about the attention economy.
Carl Ahner: Presenting his latest installation work, DER SONIFIKATOR.
And yes, there will be drinks!
I can't wait to see you there. Thank you for sticking with me through the chaos.
