This work transforms textile into sound through machine perception.
A laser camera scans fabric from, detecting patterns and structural rhythms.
These visual textures are translated into sound, creating a sensory bridge between material and machine.
Performed with Alphonsine, the installation invites viewers to hear what the eye usually owns alone.
Installation with laser-based pattern detection, textile (Moncler), sound transformation, and performance by Alphonsine. Video by Robert Arnold.
